Margaret (Marge) Ann Stathakis (nee Van Rooyen) was born in Witbank (now named Emalahleni) in South Africa. She married Costa Stathakis in 1968 and they have three children and 8 grandchildren. In 2009 they immigrated to Australia to be with their children and grandchildren.

Marge has an Honours Degree in Psychology and a certificate in Marriage Guidance and Counselling and numerous other certified courses e.g. Marriage Preparation / Bereavement Counselling/Trauma Counselling/Certificate in Training and Assessment etc.

Marge established a large Counselling Centre in Bryanston/Johannesburg, South Africa.

Her strong belief is that each person is precious, unique, and has the ability to overcome life’s challenges.

Her desire, for a long time, has been to share her insights and information gained from various sources over many years. She also has included, with each individual’s permission, moving life stories.
